The Shetland Sheepdog boasts a historical backdrop spanning more than 150 years (Gwynne-Jones, 1958). Originating from the Shetland Isles off the coast of Scotland. Why this type of dog you might ask? Scotland is the place my husband was born – Edinburgh to be exact. Anything that reminds me of him is close to my heart. He is pictured with his favorite girl – our Irish Wolfhound – Megan.
